What you do with the Mailflux calendar
The calendar sits in the same webmail as your email, so you are not jumping back and forth between separate tools. You create an appointment with a title, a time and a place, and put a reminder on it right away so nothing slips your mind. Recurring appointments you enter once as a repeat, for example every Monday morning or the first Tuesday of the month.
You attach files to an appointment, so the document and the moment stay together, and you invite participants at their email address. If the appointment moves, they are notified automatically. With colours and labels you organise your calendar per project, per client or per type of appointment, so you can see at a glance what your week looks like.
Alongside your appointments you keep a task list in the same environment, handy for everything that has to happen but has no fixed hour. How to go about that is in using a task list in your email. Your address book sits next to it: contacts you add are immediately available to invite participants.
Planning together without the back-and-forth
A calendar only becomes really useful once your colleagues can look along. You share your calendar with the people you work with, so everyone sees where there is still room. With the Free/Busy feature you find a moment that suits everyone, without the usual string of messages about who can when. The steps for sharing are in sharing your calendar with colleagues.
The same goes for your contacts: you share the address book with your team, so a client detail is entered once and everyone sees the same version. How to set that up is explained in sharing contacts with colleagues. If the appointment has to happen online, the Zoom integration lets you set up a meeting without leaving your calendar.
The same calendar everywhere via CalDAV
An appointment you enter on your laptop belongs on your phone too. CalDAV takes care of that, the open standard for calendars: you add your Mailflux calendar once in Apple Calendar on iPhone or Mac, in a CalDAV app on Android or in Thunderbird on your computer, and after that everything stays in step by itself. The steps per device are in syncing your calendar via CalDAV.
For your contacts the same arrangement exists under the name CardDAV, so your address book is right on every device. We explain that one too, in syncing your contacts via CardDAV. Prefer not to set anything up? Then simply open the webmail in your browser: your calendar is always there, on any device.
The calendar, the task list and syncing through CardDAV and CalDAV belong to the Pro and Premium plans. Basic gives you a reliable mailbox without those extras. What each plan contains is on the pricing page.
